The Ashdown Hurrey Women in Business Lunch Club
The Ashdown Hurrey Women in Business Lunch Club has established a new standard for networking in East Sussex. Like minds, an informal atmosphere, superb food and great speakers have made the club a must for women in business from Hastings and the wider Rother area.
Staged at the wonderful Royal Victoria Hotel and hosted by the team at Ashdown Hurrey, between 60 and 80 women gather for each of the quarterly meetings to network, share experience and enjoy a well earned break from the office.
To help ensure people can confidently plan their day, the club always runs from 12.15pm to 2.00pm. While many guests often stay on speaking with friends, everyone knows that if they need to leave at 2pm, they can.
The lunch club has benefited from a host of top speakers. BBC TV personality Kaddy Lee-Preston was the first in a long line of VIP's to make fresh and interesting presentations to very appreciative audiences. More recently, local actress and comedienne Wendy Wason gave a great talk on life in showbiz.
The Lunch Club was founded by Ann Grant in 2005. Tamsyn Rayner-Vincent took over the running of the event in 2008 and both have been assisted by Gemma Steer. Contact details for Tamsyn and Gemma can be found below.
