Meet the Team - Hastings

A qualified and highly experienced accountant, Patrick has been an Ashdown Hurrey partner during many changes to the practice and is pleased to see its current strong position and excellent reputation. Patrick is the firm's Managing Partner.

Jeff joined Ashdown Hurrey as a qualified accountant in 1998. Since becoming a partner Jeff has specific responsibilty for the firm's finances.

Ann joined Ashdown Hurrey as a qualified accountant in 1998 and became an Associate in 2002. She runs the popular Ashdown Hurrey Women in Business Lunch Club.

Mick is one of the longest serving members of staff. He has a wide knowledge of tax and he also deals with many of our clients' Trusts.

Ben carried out his training with Ashdown Hurrey and gained his ACA qualification in 1998. He manages a varied portfolio of clients and is an Associate.

Kathryn joined as a trainee and gained her ACCA qualification in 2000. She manages a varied portfolio of clients, is Human Resources representative for the Hastings office and is an Associate.

Carl joined Ashdown Hurrey as a trainee and gained his ACCA qualification in 2005. He now manages a varied portfolio of clients and is an Associate.

Simon gained his ACCA qualification in 2000. He has specific responsibility for company Audits. He works with Michael on their varied portfolio of clients.

Julia joined Ashdown Hurrey 5 years ago and has recently achieved one of her ambitions of becoming a qualified accountant. She now works with Ann, assisting her with her many and varied clients.

Mark gained his ACCA qualification in 2006 and helps Patrick with his client portfolio. He is treasurer for the local Young Enterprise and has assisted in their learn to earn programme.

Marc works with Jeff and Kathryn. He is also involved with our client company Audits.

Helen is a fully qualified Accounts Technician and boasts invaluable experience. Helen assists Ann with her many and varied clients.

Julie is a long standing member of the team. She has a wealth of experience and works mainly with clients of Patrick Lee.

Donna is responsible for the regular book keeping, VAT and payroll requirements of the Hastings office clients.

Stephen is studying for the ACCA exams. He works with Michael and Simon and is involved with Solicitors Audits. He mainly assists Patrick’s managers with their wide ranging client portfolio.

After passing his A levels, Sam decided on a career in accountancy. He has been with the firm for 3 years and, with Ashdown Hurrey’s continued support, is now part qualified and is studying for the final parts of his ACCA qualification. Sam works with Carl, assisting him with his portfolio of clients.

Fran joined us in 2006 and has started studying for the ACCA qualification. She assists Kathryn and Simon with looking after their clients.

Gemma joined us in 2006. She works with Ann and assists her with the administration of the Women in Business Lunch Club.

Jayesh started studying for the ACCA qualifications at Brighton University. In order to gain the practical experience required he decided to join a firm of accountants because through working with different types of business he could obtain a broad range of knowledge.

Natasha joined the firm in September 2007. She enjoyed studying accountancy at A level and decided to pursue it as a career. Natasha has recently started training for the ACCA qualification.

Jools is highly experienced and skilled in managing the administration at the Hastings office. Working with Heidi and Tracey, Jools ensures every visitor to the offices receives a warm and professional welcome.

Tracey is a member of the Hastings office administration team.

Heidi is one of the initial points of contact for most clients. She shares the responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of our administration.
