Patrick Lee, FCA - Partner
A qualified and highly experienced accountant, Patrick has been an Ashdown Hurrey partner during many changes to the practice and is pleased to see its current strong position and excellent reputation. Patrick is the firm's Managing Partner.
Jeffrey Moore, FCCA - Partner
Jeff joined Ashdown Hurrey as a qualified accountant in 1998. Since becoming a partner Jeff has specific responsibilities for the firm’s finances, as well as specifically looking after a number of clients.
Ann Grant, FCCA - Partner
Ann joined Ashdown Hurrey as a qualified accountant in 1998 and became a Partner in 2009. She runs a substantial client base and founded the highly popular Ashdown Hurrey Women in Business Lunch Club.
Carl Read, ACCA - Partner
Carl joined Ashdown Hurrey in 1998, qualified in 2005 and became a Partner in 2009. He has worked in all areas of Accountancy and Taxation and manages a varied portfolio of clients.
Michael Murduck, TEP - Senior Manager
Mick is one of the longest serving members of staff and, like Patrick, has seen all the changes that have taken place within Ashdown Hurrey over the years. He has a wide knowledge of tax and he also deals with many of our clients’ Trusts.
Ben Sallows, ACA - Associate
Ben carried out his training with Ashdown Hurrey and gained his ACA qualification in 1998. He manages a varied portfolio of clients and has specific responsibility for overseeing the firm’s IT needs. He is also an Associate.
Kathryn Baker, FCCA - Associate
Kathryn joined Ashdown Hurrey as a trainee and gained her ACCA qualification in 2000. She manages a varied portfolio of clients as well as filling the role of Human Resource representative in the Hastings office. She is also an Associate.
Simon Lawrence, FCCA - Manager
Simon gained his ACCA qualification in 2000. He has specific responsibility for company Audits. He works with Michael on their varied portfolio of clients.
Mark Weeks-Pearson, ACCA - Manager
Mark joined Ashdown Hurrey in 2001 and gained his ACCA qualification in 2006. He manages a client portfolio and is also Chairperson for the Hastings & Rother Area Young Enterprise.
Julia Carty, ACCA- Senior
Julia joined Ashdown Hurrey in 2003 and gained her ACCA qualification in 2007, an achievement which she is very proud of. After working in the Bexhill office for a number of years she now works with Ann, assisting her with her many and varied clients.
Sam Carter, ACCA – Senior
Sam joined Ashdown Hurrey in 2005 after passing his A-levels and obtained his ACCA qualification in 2009 having achieved first time exam passes at the age of 22. He works with Carl assisting him with his client base.
Marc Ransom - Senior
Marc joined Ashdown Hurrey in 2001. As well as assisting Jeff with his client base and the firm’s internal finances he is also involved with our client company audits.
Helen Evans - Accounts Assistant
Helen is a fully qualified Accounts Technician and boasts invaluable experience. Helen assists Ann with her many and varied clients.
Julie Peters - Accounts Assistant
Julie is a long standing member of the team. She has a wealth of experience and works mainly assisting Ben and Mark with their clients.
Donna Mitchell - Bookkeeper
Donna is responsible for the regular book keeping, VAT and payroll requirements of the Hastings office clients.
Francesca Diethelm - Trainee Accountant
Fran joined Ashdown Hurrey in 2006 and is studying for her ACCA qualification. She assists Kathryn and Simon with their client portfolios.
Gemma Steer, MAAT – Trainee Accountant
Gemma joined Ashdown Hurrey in 2006 and will already be known to a lot of you through her role in assisting Tamsyn with the Women in Business Event, both in an administrative and hosting role. She assists Ann with her large portfolio of clients.
Natasha Parsons - Trainee Accountant
Natasha joined Ashdown Hurrey in 2007 after enjoying studying accountancy at A-level and decided to pursue it as a career. She is studying for her ACCA qualification and mainly assists Mark with his portfolio of client
Martin Copland - Trainee Accountant
Martin worked on and off for Ashdown Hurrey whilst studying for his degree before returning full time in 2009. He assists Kathy and Carl with their respective portfolio of clients.
Jo Legg - Trainee Accountant
Jo joined Ashdown Hurrey in 2008 to take up an administrative role within the firm. She assists Marc and Jeff with the internal finances.
Jools Stebbings - Secretary
Jools is highly experienced and skilled in managing the administration at the Hastings office. Working with Heidi and Tracey, Jools ensures every visitor to the offices receives a warm and professional welcome.
Tracey Ridley - Office Administrator
Tracey is a member of the Hastings office administration department. She has worked with Jools and Heidi for many years and is an important member of the team.
Heidi Martin - Secretary
Heidi is one of the initial points of contact for most clients. She has shared the responsibility for many years of ensuring the smooth running of our administration.
